Looking for advice on fuel injected Rincon

I bought a secondhand 2009 Rincon 680, the fuel injected type, and it's smooth-sailing yes but then again it starts hard if it sits more than 5 minutes! You gotta crank for like 30 seconds (yes, that long) before it idles smoothly and runs like nothing's wrong. This might be related to the fuel system but of course, since I'm new to this, I'd kindly request your help. Thanks.

Try to turn the key on and wait for 5 seconds so the pump can prime, then start. If this works, then you're probably losing fuel pressure after shutdown. Let me know either way so we can find the problem

Good tip, have you tried priming it yet? If it starts easier after waiting, sounds like fuel pressure's bleeding off. Could be a weak check valve, leaky injector, or regulator. Curious if the OP got a chance to check fuel pressure or notice any fuel smell

@4th hemsworth bro heyy! My old Rincon did something similar! It ended up being a slightly faulty fuel pump
even if it runs fine once started, the pump might not be building or holding initial pressure quickly enough.
It's pushing enough to keep it running, but not for the quick prime needed at startup. Before tearing into anything else, try cycling the key a few times (on off on off) before hitting the start button to see if it primes better
